This is some of the kittens in care last year but they have now all been successfully rehomed. There are NO kittens in the rescue at present as of Mid April 2013.

Pets at Home Animal Awareness Week |

STARescue Small Pet Welfare will be attending Pets at Home in Basingstoke and Reading this week talking about the rescue work they do for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, ferrets etc, so if you are local why not pop along and say hello.
Shirley and the team will be attending Pets at Home in Basingstoke Friday 6th May, Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th to talk about what they do for animals in the area, and how to look after your pets.
Claire will be attending Pets at Home near Madjeski Stadium, on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th May, between 2pm and 8pm with some of the rescued ferrets, providing ferret PR and information about caring for these wonderful animals that make great pets. |

Even if you cannot help STARescue by adopting one of our animals, or even by attending one of our fund-raising events, you can now help towards the upkeep of the animals at STARescue by providing a one-off online donation. Just click on the Charity Choice Donate Now button on the right hand side. It only takes a few minutes to make a one-off donation and 100% of your money goes directly to providing food and shelter for the animals. The donation scheme is run by the Co-Operative bank and is completely secure.

Special Needs Budgies Find Home |

Mickey and Dixie, two special needs budgies in our care, recently found a new home with a family, who travelled all the way from Cheshire. It took them three and a half hours to drive to STARescue having found the birds through the website. Mickey and Dixie are now happily settled and loving their new home up north. |
